Horse Riding In Africa With Nile Horseback SafarisWe offer a variety of horse riding safaris along the edge of the River Nile near its source in Jinja Uganda. Choose from short rides for those of you with limited time or limited experience, or luxury overnight and multi-day safaris for the more experienced horse riders that are looking for a real adventure. Abundant wildlife, huge rapids, views of Lake Victoria, and the River Nile make this horse riding experience distinctive and fascinating. You will also see close up a traditional Ugandan village and its subsistance farming lifestyle. There are no fences in the area we ride so we have access to all types of terrain from river frontage, through rain forest to mountain tops. So bring your camera for some amazing photography opportunities. We are located in Jinja with plenty of nearby accommodation. (The Haven, Kingfisher Safari Lodge, Nile River Explorers Campsite/Backpackers, The Nile Porch, Adrift Nile High Campsite, Jinja Nile Resort, Gately On Nile and the Palm Tree. Our premises are oppisite Bujagali Falls on the Kampala side of the Nile, just 10-15 minutes drive out of Jinja town centre and an hour and quarter from Kampala. We can also arrange transport to and from our premises just contact us. So if you are coming to Jinja on an overland/safari tour or just filling in weekends for those living in Kampala, our horse rides are the perfect adventure break activity.
